Located south of Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay is by far the smallest of the three primary bays in the area. It comprises around 400 limestone islets spread over 76 km2 and is just as pleasing to the eye as Ha Long Bay.
Itinerary
Day 1
12:15 Guests are transferred by speedboat/tender from Indochina Sails’s Tuan Chau Pier to Indochine Cruise - enjoy welcome drinks, listen to cruise briefing and safety instructions.
13:15-14:00 Enjoy the International Buffet Lunch.
Massage service is available after lunch and throughout the cruise. Please book in advance with your Cruise Manager.
14:45-16:30 The crew takes you to visit the Dark and Bright (also known as Bat Cave) grotto - not only known for the stunning limestone structure at every turn but also for the interesting natural habitat. The best way to explore this cave is kayaking or bamboo sampan driven by local people through the tunnel so you will spend most of your time relaxing and enjoying the quiet and natural place (This is the UNESCO Heritage site and also the nature reserve area of Cat Ba National Park)
17:30 Depart and sail to anchor overnight.
18:30-19:00 Attend the Cooking Demonstration led by our Head Chef. During the lesson, the chef shows the guests how to decorate and make some traditional Vietnamese foods.
19:30 Set Menu Dinner is served.
20:45 Evening activities. Board games like cards or Parcheesi are available, as well as massage service. Everyone can also try their luck at Squid fishing on the boat with help from the crew.
22:00 End of Programs for Day 1.
Day 2
06:30 Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.
06:45 Enjoy Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck.
07:15-08:45 Cruise crew takes guests to visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island.
09:00 Guests will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please collect all of your belongings from the cabins and leave heavy luggage outside the cabins.
09:30 Enjoy the breakfast buffet in the dining room, consisting of both Vietnamese and international dishes. Bills are settled after breakfast. We approach the harbor while we cruise, giving you the opportunity to soak up the last of the magical atmosphere of Lan Ha from the sundeck.
11:15 Arrive at Indochina Sails’s Pier at Tuan Chau Port.

Rules
CABIN POLICY
Double or Twin Cabin accommodates: 2 adults, 1 child or 1 infant.
Single Cabin can accommodate 1 adult.
CHILD POLICY
Infant 0-4 y/o: Stay for free if using existing bedding. If you need a baby cot there may be an extra charge.
Children 5-11 y/o: Be surcharged to stay in the cabin with 1 extra mattress.
Children over 12 y/o are considered adults.
TRANSFER SERVICES
Shuttle bus:
- Our bus picks up and drops off at hotels located in the Old Quarter of Hanoi and others like: InterContinental Hanoi Westlake, Sheraton Hotel, Pan Pacific Hotel.
Passengers from other hotels need to take a taxi to pick up points.
- Pick–up time: from 7:30 am to 8:00 am daily from hotels in the center of Hanoi.
- For returning: Bus will meet you at the pier at around 11:45 am, bus will arrive back in Hanoi city at about 4:00 pm
- Our bus does not pick up or drop off at the Hanoi airport.
Private car:
Pick up and drop off: at your hotel in Hanoi (Surcharged if pick up or drop off at the airport)
Private 4-seat car can accommodate up to 02 persons.
Private 7-seat car can accommodate up to 3 persons.
Private 16-seat minivan can accommodate up to 8 persons.
CANCELLATION POLICY
From 1 to 2 cabins:
+ > 10 days prior to check-in date - no charge
+ 07 - 09 days prior to check-in date - 50% charge
+ 03 - 06 days prior to check-in date - 75% charge
+ < 02 days prior to check-in date - 100% charge
+ No show/no written notice - 100% charge
From 3 to 6 cabins:
+ > 21 days prior to check-in date - no charge
+ 14 - 20 days prior to check-in date - 50% charge
+ 07 - 13 days prior to check-in date - 75% charge
+ < 07 days prior to check-in date - 100% charge
+ No show/no written notice - 100% charge
Cancellation charges apply for each canceled number of reserved cabins.
The penalties above apply when the entire booking is canceled and apply to all services including cruise and land arrangements. Guests or their travel agent must telephone or send a fax to Indochina Sails’ Reservation Department to cancel the reservation.
