Ta Lien Son
Looking up from below, the high mountain peak looks like the back of a buffalo that lives in the forest at the foot of the mountain, so Ta Lien is also known as the Buffalo Neck Mountain. The recorded altitude on Ta Lien peak is 2996m above sea level. From above you can see the small but beautiful city of Lai Chau between four majestic mountains and forests.
Ta Lien forest with diverse primeval vegetation will make you overwhelmed and excited. You seem to be lost in a mysterious fairy scene with luxuriant ancient trees, moss and ferns covered, creeping stems clinging to the stone stacked with strange shapes, fallen camellia flowers white walkways, or bright red maple leaves and green moss carpets alluring with a fresh color.

Itinerary
DAY 0: HANOI - SAPA
– 22h00: The tour guide picks you up at the meeting point, board the car to move to Sa Pa, Lao Cai.
– Route: Hanoi – Noi Bai – Highway Hanoi – Lao Cai – Sapa.
– Means of transportation: High quality sleeper bus.
You can choose to get picked up by the bus at the airport, it is recommended to book a flight to Noi Bai earlier than 22h30.
Buses depart daily, you can go to Sapa before or stay in Sapa after finishing trekking.
DAY 1: SAPA – TA LENG/CAMPSITE 2600M
– 04h00: Arriving in Sa Pa, the group moves to check in to the hotel to rest and personal hygiene.
– 06h00: Have lunch at the restaurant, then leave unnecessary items at the hotel.
– 06h30: Tour guide disseminates the program and notes in the itinerary.
– 07h00: Get on the bus to move to the trekking point at Ta Leng, about 80km from Sapa. Then take a motorbike taxi to the starting point of trekking.
– 09h30: Arriving at the trekking point, you send your luggage to the porter. The journey begins.
– 12h00: Rest and have lunch.
– 17h30: Arriving at the campsite, the group rests after the journey of the first day.
– 18h30: Enjoy dinner, interact with members of the group, then continue to enjoy the evening in the quiet mountain space. The group spent the night in a wooden shack that was airtight, with blankets and insulation mats to keep warm.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Overnight: Wooden shack.
DAY 3: REACHING THE TA LIEN'S PEAK / SAPA - HANOI
– 05h00: Enjoy breakfast, sip a cup of coffee warm ginger tea.
– 05h30: Warm up and start the final conquest to reach the top.
– 08h00: Reaching Ta Lien's Peak, you can rest, take pictures and enjoy the scenery on the top of the mountain.
– 10h00: Arrive back at the campsite, pack your personal belongings to return to the original starting point.
– 12h00: Have lunch on the way down the mountain.
– 14h30: Take a motorbike taxi to the starting point, then the bus takes you back to Sapa.
– 17h00: Take a bath with Red Dzao medicinal leaves, soak in a hot tub and relax after a long journey.
– 19h00: Have dinner at the restaurant. Enjoy sturgeon hotpot with lots of fresh vegetables and raise a glass of sweet apple cider to celebrate the success.
– 23h00: Get on the sleeper bus back to Hanoi.
– 04h30: The next morning, return to the original meeting point. At the end of the program, the tour guide bids you farewell.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Overnight on the sleeper bus.
For the most convenience, you should choose a flight departing from Noi Bai airport at 07h00.

WHAT TO PREPARE:
- 01 set of long-sleeved, quick-drying clothes to wear when trekking.

- 01 set of clothes to change when returning to Sapa and getting on the bus back to Hanoi (you can send it back to the homestay before the trek).
- A good quality specialized mountaineering shoe for rough terrain.
- 2-3 pairs of long, thick socks (high neck socks are recommended).
- Personal items: mosquito repellent, hat, thin raincoat, nylon boots, brush, eco-friendly toothpaste (please contact us if you need help).
